The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, January 27 suggests a drunk Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will tell Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) he loves her.
Also coming up, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will receive a letter from a widow of one of his team members and Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will try to help him. Plus, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) faces a challenge with baby Dominic and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will surprise her girlfriend.
Y&R spoilers tease Devon will be excited about his overnight visit with Dominic but will have trouble getting him to sleep. When he finally does start snoozing, there’ll be a knock on the door. It’s Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and she’ll waltz in, asking where the baby is and Dom will start crying. Devon will finally get him to sleep again and Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will walk in and Dom will wake up again.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Chance Can’t Take Her Words To Heart
Over at the Chancellor estate, Abby will pace around, missing her son. Chance will tell her it’ll get easier as they go. “It’s such a strange feeling, not having Dom around,” she’ll say. “I guess I have to get used to it, days and nights without our son.” Chance will pamper her and say he wants to make time for her, as often as he can. “This gives me hope that we can not only survive, but thrive as a family,” Abby will say.
But later, he’ll open a letter and start crying as he reads it. Abby will walk into the room and ask him what’s wrong. The letter is from the widow of one of his men, thanking him for sending her money for the funeral. “Stop feeling guilty for having survived,” the widow says. “None of this is your fault. Find a way to make peace with this in your own heart.” Abby will say she hopes he takes her words to heart. However, Chance will respond that he knows nobody blames him but he still blames himself.
Meanwhile, Mariah will lead Tessa out onto the patio at Crimson Lights. She’s decorated it with hanging stars, to recreate their first kiss. Then she’ll give Tessa a ring and get down on one knee and propose. Tessa will say yes, of course. As Mariah slips the ring on her girlfriend’s finger, Noah will be watching from outside.

Then Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will run onto the patio and hug them both. Mariah will spot Noah and drag him inside. Sharon will talk about what kind of engagement party they want. Mariah will say they don’t really want anything like that, nothing traditional. “It’s very you, very Teriah,” Noah will say. He’ll suggest they have an album release party, after all, Tessa’s new album is a love letter to Mariah, and they’ll agree. Then Noah will say he’s meeting some friends for drinks and he’ll leave.
Finally, Tessa will head to Society for some takeout and she’ll find Noah there, drinking alone. She’ll say she thought he was meeting some friends and he’ll say he’s “just continuing the celebration of the happy couple.” She’ll offer to take him home and he’ll knock over a beer bottle and get up. Tessa will ask if he’s okay. “Why wouldn’t I be okay?” Noah will ask. “When you love somebody, you want them to be happy.” Tessa will have a shocked look on her face and Noah will try to cover. “And I love my sister, so yeah, I’m fine.”
